A U.S. Air Force Airman assigned to the 177th Maintenance Squadron performs routine pre-flight inspections on an F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter jet, from the 177th Fighter Wing of the New Jersey Air National Guard, at Aviano Air Base, Oct. 21, 2024. The procedure was a part of Operation Pegasus Dawn, an Agile Combat Employment training mission designed to support the 108th Wing’s transition from KC-135 Stratotanker refueler aircraft to the newer KC-46 Pegasus model.
