Air National Guard unit deploys for Theater Security Package
A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III takes off from the Atlantic City International Airport in Egg Harbor Township, N.J. on Jan. 26, 2017, carrying 177th Fighter Wing and 119th Fighter Squadron Advance Echelon (ADVON) personnel and equipment deploying to Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, in support of the U.S. Pacific Command Theater Security Package. The C-17, from the 305th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to main operating bases or directly to forward bases in the deployment area.
