The 177th Fighter Wing participates in intercept exercise to prepare joint team for Super Bowl XLVIII
A Civil Air Patrol aircraft taxis at Atlantic City Air National Guard Base, N.J. on Jan. 28 prior to an intercept exercise in preparation for Super Bowl XLVIII. The Civil Air Patrol played the role of a wayward aircraft during the exercise. U.S. Air Force assets will be part of a joint team involving the FBI, Customs & Border Protection and the FAA providing security for the Super Bowl in the air on game day.
